The example I will give is the character Regina George. Regina is a financially wealthy and popular high school student. She is the leader of the "Plastics" group. The Plastics are the main antagonists in the film. The Plastics are a well known and notorious group. They are the most popular group at North Shore High School. Convergence: An example of Convergence was when the main character (Cady Heron) moved to America and went into high school for the first time. She had to adapt to the changes, make friends, and still be true to herself. She converged into a very different and new life and handled it well. Divergence: An example of Divergence is very similar to my Convergence example. The divergence in the story is when Cady departs Africa and moves to the US and goes to a regular school for the first time. She diverges from the place she grew up and diverges from homeschooling.
